An original contemporary mixed media painting.
'Flamboyant Flamingo' speaks of sunny days with a bold, bright pink Flamingo. Seeing large flocks or a 'flamboyance' of Flamingos fly right over my head on their daily commute whilst on my recent trip to Spain, I knew it was only a matter of time before one or more appeared in my work.
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint. I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
I paint intuitively, sometimes, if I'm lucky, animals will begin to appear.
The painting is acyrlic on deep box canvas 50 x 50 x 5cm
This painting is unframed, signed on the back and complete with d-rings and hanging string so it can go straight on the wall.
I carefully wrap and despatch orders as soon as possible and send via a signed for service.
